The Big Idea is that even although life can get really busy, perhaps at times overwhelming, filled with decision making, facing our fears, our beliefs that keep us stuck, our days can be filled with highs and lows BUT at the end of it all how are you making the most of your potential as a human, how are you living a life of excellence and integrity, what are your talents, and skill sets that you didn’t even realise you had that can add value to your life.
What are you doing to level up your life, how are you being in your life, how are you working toward developing a more upbeat outlook on life, broadening your horizons.
Spontaneity can add significant value to our lives in various ways, contributing to personal growth, creativity, and overall well-being. When we engage in spontaneous activities, it can lead to positive experiences and benefits for the body and mind.
You can start by being spontaneous with the following 3 steps:

1) First of all, don’t over think
2) Secondly say yes more often
3) Thirdly ask yourself this question - “What do I want to do?” Unless it's illegal or will do harm to you or others. And don't question what comes up.
The benefits are massive from both the physical and psychological aspects:

  • Spontaneity increases of positive qualities into your life like; aliveness, harmony, courage, laughter, sense of fulfillment, excitement, joy, peace.
  • There is a Release of Endorphins; the mood enhancer hormone.
  • Release of dopamine leading to feelings of excitement and pleasure. Pleasure and Reward
  • A possible Reduction in the Stress Hormone Cortisol
  • It's about Activation of the Prefrontal Cortex: which can lead to heightened cognitive flexibility and adaptability. Go with the flow attitude, adapting to change more easily.
  • Being spontaneous is about new experiences, broadening your horizons, adding variety and leveling up your skill set.
  • It is about experiencing heightened happiness and enjoyment.

I encourage you to go out into the world and practice being more spontaneous in your life. Embrace spontaneity it truly does have benefits that you will see and feel I guarantee.
