Connecting with a quote I shared from a previous show. I found it from Devin Scillian’s (@DevinScillian) goodbye message when he announced he was retiring from our NBC affiliate here in the Detroit area, WDIV and he shared a quote from his friend Tom Sorrels when talking about him trying to decide about retiring. Tom said, “It’s later than you think.” Meaning if there is anything you want to do, get busy doing it because time is going by fast. I took that to heart and wrote it down. I connected it to the other night when I looked up and saw so many stars along with a very bright moon in the dark night-time sky. Not only does this remind me about how fast time is going and I need to get out of my own way and do the things that I want to (and need to) do… but also how much time there has been in human history along with how small I am (we all are).
