Ever felt that internal tug-of-war between who you once were and who you're evolving into? Today I take you on my own personal journey of self-discovery, inner callings, creative and energy flow, social media challenges, body messages, and much more. It’s an episode that’s jam-packed with experiences, heartfelt stories, and insights I’ve gained along my way. As part of this episode I discuss: Social Media Conflicts My desire to return to social media after a long time away so as to connect with my podcast listeners. But how I’ve been spinning and not posting much of anything on my accounts because I’ve struggled with doing it in a way that is heartfelt, authentic, honors my own energy flow, and doesn’t focus on likes or follow numbers. Radical Awakening How we can be experiencing a radical awakening to new levels of self-empowerment and awareness within ourselves – as part of a larger shift in consciousness that I believe is happening in the world today. How I liken my experiences to a video game analogy, describing a conflict between old and new ways of being, where new insights or abilities become accessible, but can be resisted or conflicted by previous patterns or beliefs. And how this can create an energy conflict within ourselves because one part is trying to embrace new awareness and ways of being, while other parts are holding onto familiar modes of thinking or being (even when they’re not serving us anymore.). Dogmas & Self-Limitations How by tuning into my own knowing about my own growth and consciousness changes (vs. others’ perceptions of them), I can avoid certain self-limiting dogmas and instead focus on my own discovery and empowerment. Energy Management & Replenishment How I’m constantly learning new ways of managing and replenishing my own personal power and energy as key aspects of my journey. How by doing this I can recognize desires or needs that were previously unknown or misunderstood by me. Flowing Energy & Creativity How my previous work as an interior designer and my journey to date as a podcaster were all about learning to flow my own energy and express my unique creativity. How they taught me how to trust my own flow and feelings and to release inhibitions and disempowering beliefs. How those steps along my journey were key to me being where I am now, in understanding how to allow my own creative flow in radically different ways in my artwork and even in my podcasting. Expanding Beyond Old Ideas How in both my work as an interior designer and in my first podcast, I utilized certain energetic training wheels, which I was later called to move beyond. How my first podcast’s focus on the teachings of Abraham Hicks was something I was called to move beyond when I began to have experiences that conflicted with some of the key premises that were no longer consistent with my own knowing and life experiences. And how I closed my interior design firm when I was called to the next phase of my own journey. Homeschooling, Dyslexia, & Learning Differences A brief overview of how I quit my second technology startup to help my son – and I dove into the world of homeschooling, learning differences, and dyslexia. How I struggled with that part of my journey because I’d thought I was finally going to get time to “get back to me and my work” now that my kids were older. How despite my struggles along this path, I later became aware of the amazing benefits I received from those experiences. How they were pivotal and transformative in my understanding of consciousness, wellness, and energy flow. And More Many more insights and experiences along the way.
