I am so excited to be joined by clinical psychologist (and my very own sister!), Dr. Leah Todd, for this two part episode. In Part 1, we are diving into a few of the myths surrounding therapy. We break down why– while certainly a big and brave step– choosing to go to therapy doesn’t have to be scary, as well as what the very vulnerable, very human connection between therapist and client is really all about. You’ll hear Leah talk about why therapy can be helpful for everyone, the difference between pain and suffering, and how necessary it is to put in the work in order to truly heal. Be sure to tune in for Part 2.
