In this episode, Andy celebrates the end of the school year and highlights the importance to "step off the hamster wheel". Teachers Andy speak to often describe the summer term as a hamster wheel which gradually speeds up to the point in many cases where you just don’t feel that you can keep up.
If you’re lucky enough to have stepped off the hamster wheel for the summer congratulations you’ve made it! I know some schools finish at the end of this week and others go into next week. However, I think now is a good time to reflect on the end of term especially and consider whether we can make the end of term easier on our physical and mental health.
