Chief Jerrod Hart is a 31-year veteran of law enforcement starting his career with the Novi Police Department. He worked his way up through the ranks with the Novi Police Department where he ultimately served as their Assistant Chief of Police for five years. Before coming to the Dearborn Heights Police Department to serve as Chief of Police, he served as Chief of Police for the Saline Police Department.
