In this coaching session with an Enneagram Nine, we explore the deep desire for both peace & autonomy. She shares the experience of digging her heels in when others are pushing or pulling her as well as the internal desire to not have such stubborn boundaries with others. We explore the “too muchness” & overwhelm that’s felt in the Type Nine structure and how we can help support ourselves so that we don’t instantly collapse or hide when we feel swept up in the undertow of others. In our coaching conversation, we give some language to the felt-sense of boundaries and the overwhelm so that we have more awareness of our experience in real-time.
