In today's episode of Beyond The Grind i'm joined by Michael Acevedo the author of 'Modern Poker Theory: Building an unbeatable strategy based on GTO principles'.
In this episode we discuss a variety of topics such as how he got started in poker, putting in the effort and motivating yourself to study, as well as what made him decide to write his book. We also dive deeper in to some strategical based topics such as using solvers and what people are doing wrong when using them.
We then discuss some more broader topics such as handling downswings, his experiences with streaming on Twitch and the existence of bots and other illegal softwares in online poker. Before finally moving on to discuss some topics outside of poker completely.
Hope you all enjoy!
