When a guest on A Journey With Bernie wants to return the favour by asking Bernie Kelly, his host and facilitator, to participate in his podcast, then the result is Bernie under the microscope on what he has learnt from the game of life. Coincidentally, it was such an appropriate request, as it coincided with the one-year anniversary of A Journey With Bernie which was launched on April 27, 2022. The remarkable Prof Kenneth Pakenham was our first guest and he really did offer us great insights into what brings meaning into our lives. He got this party going! I am forever grateful.
In truth, so many of my deeper insights have come from the lessons gleaned from all 36 podcast guests so far. They have opened up my eyes to the power of love as a life purpose. Do not interpret this as a 'motherhood' or soft statement. For me, it is clear now: 'Love is all there is. The rest is window dressing'. Of course, it is so easy to say this. The real value does not come from such a vision. It comes from knowing the pathway on how to get there, and that's what this podcast is all about and it is also the value of this episode. You will hear a Bernie interpretation of what my life and 36 extraordinary guests have taught me about maximising this game of life. I so hope you enjoy it.
