Home birth is safe for most moms, no matter what the naysayers try to scare you into believing. However, for a small percentage of women, the hospital may be a safer environment because of the type of care they need or their baby needs. This episode looks at conditions that may indicate it is safer for mom to give birth at the hospital. Of course, as with all situations, this is simply one opinion and you should always consult with your own birth attendant.
