In today’s episode, Kara Martin guides us through the third of four distortions that impact on our understanding of how our faith links with our work.
The third distortion is that we can expect God to make our work comfortable and fulfilling. Kara discusses the wounds and scar we carry because of our work, disappointments we have with God when our career and life do not go the way we had prayed they would, and considers whether God gives us good jobs and keep us from bad jobs. Finally, she reflect on how social justice working helps us to keep our eyes on God even in difficult workplaces.
