Last week was Part 1 of an interview series I did with guest Kristin Batykefer. If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode then stop right now and go back to episode #35 titled The Girl in the Van Next Door to get all the juicy details of this interview. For the many of you that already listened to Part 1, here's a quick recap of where we left off…. Kristin is a young soon-to-be single mom that went through one hell of traumatizing separation from her husband of 9 years. As if finding out that your partner and the father of your child is having an affair and has been hiding it from you for an entire year isn’t traumatic enough…. Add on to that that you were at the time, living out of a travel van with your husband, 2-year-old daughter, and your dog and the mistress of this affair is a fellow van traveler (who just happens to be a pretty famous travel blog influencer) who was actively pursuing a friendship with you AND is married herself… all while sleeping with your husband. You can’t make this stuff up guys!
So go back and listen to last week’s episode before you kick off Part 2 so that you don’t miss any important parts of this crazy roller coaster of a ride story.
There will be a part 3 next week which is the part of this conversation where Kristin shares where she’s at today, how co-parenting with her soon-to-be ex-husband is coming along, what more she’s learned through this experience about herself and how she’s creating a life for herself that prioritizes her happiness in this next chapter.
