Sandy has enjoyed a 20-year career as an IT Project Consultant. She is now providing part-time and fractional Project Management to help small and medium-sized companies thrive and loves working with not-for-profits to help them give back to their community.
Recently, Sandy has taken her hobby and love of cooking and baking and started a new baking business called SNickelFritz Kitchens. Her bakery business has become known for its hand-crafted butter tarts made with pure, simple ingredients that are delivered fresh to your door!
During our conversation, Sandy answers these questions: what is the Black Dog? And when did it come onto your life? What has been the most difficult and the biggest blessing about owning and living with this dog? And, what advice or strategies would you give to help other people who own and live with a "dog" like this?
Along the way, Sandy shares the simple wisdom of "just putting" and how to be careful about what you " consume" and what "consumes" you. Additionally, I share some of my experiences with my mother's depression and a season of panic attacks I endured.
