...& to find the YouTube you'll have to scroll, tap & read. Skills that increase my vestibular [then]. I thought if someone was willing to do all that, that must mean something since this whole this is remind us education is fleeting. Don't blink, learning happens faster than you think. And if you squander the chance to get it by not participating, not assessing your understanding (what do you know & not know?) then that is what this curriculum is.
Living Writing Trying to Document & "Teach" Steps I did to end the biological uptick of what we know as ptsd, but what I know as sensory overload/lord because it's Pictures, Touches, Sounds DISSordered, so order it.
This is not that hard when you know their motivations & why they all choose money over decency. Now apply NEW KNOWLEDGE to a priori (omg, I forgot). Yup I forgot & why being in UK at priories I realize then & there, my body pulled me towards there so I never lost "prior knowledge."
In that moment I lost the word, but then I had a vision on all these places I was pulled towards & remembered it. How do you learn? During the darkest, I learned kinesthetically, but I prefer visual/audio/tactile or note-taking in notebooks, not online, so that's the goal. GET BACK TO WHAT YOU KNOW.
Learning through experience is good, too. It's just that to relive the same behaviors of all these different places & the connective thread is Chicago has to be significant.
By the way, I don't write SMART E MC/STT anymore (I am now to be clear about what I'm saying) since I don't hear my kids calling them stupid, nor my godfather (original name Smartie Compère but also early 20th century: French, literally ‘godfather’, from medieval Latin compater, from com- ‘together with’ + Latin pater ‘father’.
My godfather was the one who encouraged me to go to Loyola, a private school versus state school. He said, "you got it. You gotta go. It'll change your life," & he was absolutely right. The strangest thing is I really didn't like school, but I loved sports & I had this voice in my head that kept me going...it wasn't an encouraging voice, it was quite the opposite. The abusers since I was told a long time ago, the best recent is "a good life."
This was a book given to me by someone who didn't know I couldn't read, but also a special educator & they never asked me anything about the injuries/assault, but they knew about it so how would they know if they didn't ask. I don't share my trauma & that's why ADVOCACY for self is part expressing what you can & can't do with strategies that may help no matter how bizarre and part no having to say a peep. I could've told her, but it was easier not to. Some teachers really aren't in it for the profession---they're in it for the summers & why if you focus on the kids, not the adults, you will never go astray.
The biggest physical change is that my right shoulder is just beginning to throb, but I've been working on this since at 8 (with 10-15m breaks every 30m & not all typing, but using mouse counts, too) and it's 3 AM now.
HOW MUCH TIME HAVE I BEEN WORKING ON THE COMPUTER?
Math everyday. I'll do the problem tomorrow & share where to find the poetry. That's it---that's how to get back to visual/audio/tactile since the way a poem is on a single sheet is exciting to me. There's so much to intake.
I really don't hear those kids but now I can explain how I was progress monitoring. The goal was just to get better & never have to look at this again, but it didn't happen & I promised wherever I was in this recovery, I'd start sharing publicly when I had to--NO FEAR--since it makes it all go FASTER.
Listen for "ludicrous speed." We're in world ONE. Not due to ptsd, but to say NO WAY.
