Lindsay shares her story about her daughter’s struggle with Juvenile Dermatomyositis and the way that God taught her how to find joy in their limitations, as well as to see the way God was encouraging and equipping her in motherhood. Due to Elyse’s JDM diagnosis, she has to avoid overexposure to the sun, which can prove challenging living in California. When she saw a church sign saying, “Create Your Own Sunshine,” she saw it as God’s invitation to see the creative ways that God was providing and bringing joy in their challenging circumstances. Lindsay invited Michelle, Faith, and Deb to share how God is giving them eyes to see His gifts in their current journey in motherhood.
