Episode Summery:
Elise Epp is a graphic designer for a sustainable development think tank and the Executive Director of Fashion Revolution Canada, which is a chapter of the global fashion activism movement. When the Rana Plaza Disaster took the lives of over 1000 garment workers back in 2013 Elise’s eyes opened up to how the clothes we purchase to wear impacts the planet and everyone living on it. In 2015, Elise made the commitment to only buy ethical clothing or make her own. Since then, she has become a vocal supporter of the slow fashion movement and the go-to source for friends trying to find ethical dressing solutions. She joined us on the podcast to share ideas on how we can all join in on the movement and propel change.
