Hello, My name is Ramon, and I want to welcome you to my podcast. This podcast is about sharing my experiences of getting a healthier lifestyle while doing and eating anything, although I adjusted amounts and frequencies for some items. All that said, this podcast will focus on nutrition, physical activity, and mindset. Included in the mix, I will add my quirky sense of humour and questions to make us ponder about the choices we have made in our lives and the results we have achieved. A little bit about myself: My drive toward a healthier lifestyle started in 2013 after my GP told me to lose weight or else… WOW! This was a big wake up call for me. Initially, I didn‘t know what to do, as I did not believe in diets, had never done one, and didn‘t know what to do. In any case, I was 98 kgs and wanted to improve my health. I approached my sister, who had lost 28 kgs, and she coached me into improving my lifestyle to lose weight and stay healthy after achieving my ideal weight. In the beginning, I lost 13 kgs and kept my new weight for some time. As time passed and I worked on improving my lifestyle habits, my overall wellness improved. As of December 2021, I am 61 years old, have lost 19 kg and 9% body fat. Never felt better, fitter and more energetic in my life.
