• As we enter Romans 7, where is Paul in his line of argumentation?
• Is there a reason why Paul uses this illustration (V. 1-4)?
• What is the dynamic of law and Spirit in V. 4-6?
• What does Paul mean by “law”? What law have we been released from?

• Hold on: Is the law good or bad?

Dr. Tom Schreiner is the James Buchanan Harrison Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Professor of Biblical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the author of many books including but not limited to: The Law and Its Fulfillment: A Pauline Theology of Law, Interpreting the Pauline Epistles, Paul: Apostle of God’s Glory in Christ: A Pauline Theology, and the Baker Exegetical Commentary on Romans.
