It can be anyone you or maybe your future generation! So the idea is that artificial intelligence (AI) produces a “useless” class of people who have no value to offer society? This is a possibility that Yuval Noah Harari warns about in his book and is probably the most important question in 21st-century economics: What should we do with all the superfluous people, once we have highly intelligent non-conscious algorithms that can do almost everything better than humans?
