At the tender age of 19, Chaka Jackson was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and her life took an unexpected turn. However, instead of letting this condition define her, she chose to rise above it and embrace a path of resilience and compassion.
After her diagnosis and lacking the education she needed to learn more about Diabetes, Chaka founded Diabetic Social, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create international awareness and education around the diabetic lifestyle through proper management and prevention.
