The Leader Mentality

When we first met this week’s guest, Heather Hansen O’Neill, we knew it was going to be a great show and she certainly delivered! She spoke to us about everything from finding inspiration to motivating others. We also enjoyed hearing about her backstory as a classically trained dancer and the epiphany that she had when her career abruptly came to an end and she found her passion for helping others through leadership and business training. Heather explained that often, a person’s greatest success comes after a setback. It can feel like the world is ending at first, but that just opens up your mind to the best opportunity that you may not have considered prior.

Heather has traveled nationwide helping people to meet their potential. She’s a Ted X speaker and keynote speaker. We enjoyed learning about how to understand your and other people’s “Adventure Quotient” when finding a person’s natural comfort zone in situations. In addition to a ton of other great information on the show, she explained why her motto of “opening hearts, minds and doors” is so important in leadership and for life in general.
