In this episode of the Grow2Gether podcast, we're joined by Dani Kassick who defines herself as a mental-health warrior. Dani utilizes resilience and grit to navigate her journey through life to heal from childhood trauma. Through the power of yoga and meditation, mindset, and psychotherapy techniques, she has been able to shift herself from a survivor to a "thriver" and during this episode, we dive into the steps Dani took to do just that and overcome a victim mindset.

  • Pursue your passions, purpose, and calling. Even if you start off small and dedicate a little amount of time, amazing things can happen and you're be focusing on more of the things that bring you joy. Ultimately - your passions are the light!
  • One of the most important things is to try and catch negative self-talk. Through developing this awareness you're able to notice triggers and reframe your negative self-talk and thoughts to something that'll actually serve you. ⁣
  • Through Yoga and meditation, we're able to put our bodies into a state of calm so we can work on developing our mindsets and do the work needed to overcome the limiting beliefs and things holding us back.
  • Change never comes from a comfortable place, and that's the whole point - to change, evolve, and grow rather than stay the same. Developing your mindset helps you to see this for yourself so you can start to embrace change.
