His first real estate investment deal, for which he had prepared for years and invested all his savings on, was falling apart. Costs were much higher than budgeted and the government wanted to expropriate him, which in turn scared off any potential buyers. It could have ended his real estate investing career before it got started. But he stuck with it, fought back, and came out successful.

After overcoming that challenge, Nick learned that he doesn't run away or hide when things get tough. Now he can take more calculated risks and feel more comfortable with unknowns because he knows he'll deal with what comes his way.
