This is part 2 of my story of my mother, Setsuko Yayoshi Rowlands. Our story continues from Episode 8 (part 1) of this incredible journey for my mom. She was constantly re-inventing herself to survive in each unique life situation she found herself in. In this case, her story continues as she grapples with a gay daughter newly out to her and a terminal illness that would eventually require a many hours of in-home care.
