Journaling enables us to sit still, focus on, and evaluate the issues, attitudes, and actions (or lack thereof) we’re taking in our lives, and consider how they are serving us and our future selves.
In a previous episode, I talked about the messages we tell ourselves. The constant conversations we can have - for good or for bad - that run through our heads each day, perhaps even non-stop throughout the day.
Healthy, productive journal prompts have a way of hard-stopping those conversations when they’re negative and redirecting them to a more positive vein.
JOURNAL PROMPTS The 12+ journal prompts cover 4 key areas that we need to examine as we’re going through changes in life:
- Practical Actions,
- Emotional Awareness,
- Relational Affects, and
- Forward-thinking Attitudes.
There are no “yes” or “no” answers to them…but there are no wrong answers, either!
