In business, we focus on goals, strategies, and achievements, but what about the foundation—our nervous system? Constantly in fight-or-flight mode, we miss the clarity and confidence needed to truly thrive.
Why is this important?
- Our nervous system is our operating system, and when it's regulated, we feel calmer, clearer, and more confident. This attracts the right opportunities and people to us. Here are my top practices to regulate your nervous system:
1. Be Present: Slow down and tune into the moment. Ask yourself: What do you see, smell, hear, and feel? This helps shift your focus from stress to presence.
2. Somatic Work: Reconnect with your body through breathwork. Simple techniques like box breathing or two sharp breaths through your nose and releasing through your mouth can be transformative.
3. Journaling: Use prompts like "What is coming up?" to dump your thoughts and reframe them. This practice shifts you from overwhelmed to empowered.
Take Action:
- Implement these steps daily, even if for just a few minutes. You'll notice a shift in your energy, clarity, and how quickly you manifest your desires.
