Ashley was joined by Counselor/Mentor Jarvis "JB" to have a conversation about the clinical work he does in regards to mental health. JB has been doing clinical work for 5 years now and he works with males between the ages of 11 to 15 years old.
JB creates a safe place for youth, specifically boys, to be open and to share their struggles with mental health. JB teaches his youth that it's okay to be vulnerable and to feel emotions.
JB shares his passion for mental health and he also shares his own personal struggles with mental health.
