In this episode, I discuss memoirs of a recent stay in a distant hotel and the many nuances between today’s stay, that of 2019 and before, and even a few family vacations as a kid and their unforgettable Overnighters in a so-called “hotel”. The hotel experience has changed over the years. Back in the day the staff at a hotel provided us with VIP services - fresh linen, clean beds, taking out your trash - It made us feel important, valued, like an executive. I have had many bad experiences at different hotels, but we can't blame the staff entirely. Guests have changed along with the times and so has their lack of gratuity. Thanks for listening!
