Preventing and managing graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) remains a significant problem in the post–allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT) setting. Can a wide range of unique treatment modalities, including costimulatory compounds, targeted agents, and engineered cell therapy, challenge long-standing management protocols in this setting?
