Welcome back to Oh, Hi Self! It’s Sandra here, reporting from the newborn vortex—land of sleep-deprived zombie humans. Baby Rio is 5 weeks old, and while life is full of snuggles and hilarious baby noises (think baby elephant meets pterodactyl), it’s been a journey of recovery, patience, and surrender.
Today, I’m sharing what life looks like right now—messy and beautiful—and diving into one of my favorite practices: ending the year mindfully. Reflecting on the past year helps us honor our experiences, celebrate progress, and learn from challenges before diving into the new year.
Here are some journaling prompts to help you reflect:

- What themes or lessons stood out?
- Which relationships mattered most, and how did they evolve?
- What habits helped you grow?
- What challenges did you face, and what did you learn?
- Is there any lingering tension or frustration you can release?
