The microbiome is composed of different organisms; bacteria, yeast, viruses, and actually some protozoa and some parasitic organisms that live in synergy with us. This existence has occurred since before the dawn of time, and actually the first human cell engulfed a bacterial cell and that's what became our mitochondria. These bacteria live within us, and they eat things that we eat, and they change based upon those, but then they also create compounds that benefit or harm us and we are going to talk about some of it in this podcast. Joining us today at Maximal Being Fitness, Nutrition, and Gut Health, is Ryu Okada, founder of R's KOSO, a traditional enzyme drink created from vegetables, fruits, and plants.
Topics
- The difference of the bacterias in our microbiome
- What is KOSO?
- The importance of diversity for the microbiome
- Postbiotics and how this can help our health
Doc Mok an advanced GI doctor specializing in nutrition, gut health, and cancer. Joining him is the podcast’s layman, Jacky P, smashing the broscience on this week’s podcast. Their guest Ryu Okada, founder of R's KOSO, a traditional enzyme drink created from vegetables, fruits, and plants, which provides abundant probiotics + prebiotics + postbiotics.
