1 Timothy 2 Vs 1 Prayer is the priority of the church because it is crucial in completing the Great Commission. Vs 2 Praying for those in authority often produces a peaceful environment that promotes the growth of the gospel. Vs 3-4 Prayer for the lost pleases God because He is passionate about saving people. Vs 5-6 Because God loved the world, He provided the mediator and paid the ransom to reconcile sinners to Himself.
