Hi, everybody, I'm Marina, the trader chick, and today I want to talk about support areas , specifically areas in general in a market, and when you're reading charts or regardless of what you are trading, regardless of the financial market that you are trading, they are crucial for you to know and understand support areas, also resistance areas. And if you don't know what to look for and where they are, you might constantly be making the wrong decisions by getting into wrong markets where there are these strong areas. What does support mean in trading? So today we are going to talk about what is a support area . And if you have a defined area in this particular case, a support area, you want to be very, very cautious and cognizant of those areas. And normally when you have a pretty significant trend support areas, they could turn into channeling margins, which is consolidation areas, exhaustion periods in decision areas. But if you do not have your area drawn in, and you want to be able to draw it in, so it's all about what can happen in the market, not so much what did, but what can. And when you have an area, there's a potential that it can hit that area again. If you do not know how to draw in a support area, that could be a real hindrance. And you could actually start to lose money because you were believing that the market is continuing down. Day traders, people that put money into the market. I don't know about you, but being in this industry, I cannot even tell you the amount of people I get contacting me saying, hey, I want to trade. I just put in five thousand bucks into the market. I'm like, oh, which market? I'm not sure. I think it was stocks because, you know, somebody said that the stocks I mean, this alert room where, you know, they kind of mentioned some good stocks. I'm like, OK, where did you enter? Oh, I just followed. I just put in and, you know, of course, they end up losing 99.99% At times, they lose and then what do they say after that? Oh, this is gambling, it sucks . There's so much risk. I lost all my money. I blew an account. Yeah. What's your strategy? They don't even know what a trend looks like. I've asked so many people who have lost a ton of money and are at their wits end. I'm saying it's a gambling. This is too risky. I'm like, OK, cool. Tell me what your strategy is. Where do you enter? What indicators do you use? What charting platform do you use? And you know what they tell me? Charting platform. What do you mean or indicators? Well, I have the moving average. I use a candlestick. I'm like cool. So where do you enter from? They don't know. What's your risk management? Oh, I don't have a risk management. I know when to get out. No, you don't. Emotions when your stakes are high will get you every time . So, no, you won't know when you're getting out. You are gambling everything you've got on your trade. And it's not even a real trade because you don't even know what you're doing. So tell me, how is that? Is that gambling when you're just entering the market blindly? Hell, yeah, it's gambling.…

It's Marina, The Trader Chick, and I'm here to simplify your day trading. OK, so what in the world is day trading, and why is it not investing? So day trading is completely unlike investing. With day trading, we're focusing on the intraday, on the actual one day when you're in and out of trades in that specific day, if you don't really get all the lingo. So in day trading, you are in and out of positions that very same day . That is literally what day trading is about. Master that one instrument, that one instrument, that one market that truly brings you the money profitably, consistently every day when you are day-trading and then learn the next market. Investors really care about the companies that they are investing in to see them grow because they're going to go through ups and downs. Right. For instance, take Apple or Amazon. You know, those are solid companies, but on a daily basis, weekly basis, they could have their flows. Right? They could go up or down, but you'd care about the company, you know, the fundamentals. You're seeing what they're doing in the future. It's OK because you are investing. Unlike day traders, we don't care at all if it's going up or if it's going down. Why? Because we're only looking at what's happening at the moment. And to be honest with you, we can make a lot of money going up, but we can make you probably even more when the companies are going down. We don't care about their overall health. We care only about what's going on right in front of us during that particular day. You can really understand and really see what's going on, rather than be scattered all over the place because each market works very differently. Hey, Traders, it's Marina, the trader chick, and today we are going to work on the breakout trade. What is breakout strategy? We have to get the concept. So the sideways trend, whatever you want to call it, indecision, the exhaustion, pattern of transition area, consolidation area, the channel market. However, if we do not have it is designated, that is a flat area or really understand where that area is, we will be missing one hundred percent of the best trade setups. So let's make sure we don't do that, and let's learn how to spot those trades. Consolidation areas, transition areas, again, whatever you want to call it. The market is going to do what the market is gonna do. And it's telling you, hey, it ain't going anywhere right now. OK, so what are those areas? They are support and resistance areas, resistance areas and are as important as for a Formula One driver putting on their seatbelts and their helmets. If you do not have them marked off, how are you ever going to be able to respect them the way the market respects them? All right, so support and resistance areas, we have to mark them. It could revisit those areas , but we have them marked off, so we know where those areas are. This is my absolute favorite, favorite way to spot these areas and to know when they are starting. What happens during this area, during the consolidation area of the channel, the indecision area? This is what happen next. What is FOMAT? And are you a victim of it, you don't know what that is? Fear of missing a trade. You know, we've heard FOMO, fear of missing out, well, for traders, it's fear of missing a trade , and it is a deadly fear. How do we know it's a fear? Because we are chasing trades left and right. Let me give you a little hint really, really quickly. There is always, always, always another trade coming . I do not care if you are a swing trader, and you have to sit around and wait for a trade for two weeks, or if you are a scalper like me going in for trades that are three to five minutes, sometimes I have to wait around a couple of hours. Big deal. Fear of missing a trade. You know what happens when we chase trades? You know what happens with the chasing of a trade?. We get in a trade too late because we feared that we are missing out on that trade. We get in right in time when it turns against us. And guess what? We're sitting out after that. Instead of fear of missing a trade, we should be feared of losing money for no good reason. And that's exactly what happens when we're fearing of missing trade. It's just how it goes, right.…
I have dedicated my life to simplify day trading and this is just an example of it Today we're going to have a fun talk about how day trading and Cirque de Soleil are so similar , I bet you didn't know that. The performers are ordinary humans doing extraordinary things, just like these traders are ordinary people that become extraordinary day traders. I totally believe that what it takes to be from an ordinary person to become extraordinary can be done in anything. And that's how successful day traders are. And it's very similar, the same steps as Cirque du Soleil performers take as day traders do as well. Yet for some reason, day traders, aspiring ones, don't believe that the commitment is important when you're learning to trade. Cirque du Soleil performers fall, probably way more than we see them actually doing great. They trust them with their lives, literally day traders. It is amazing to me the amount of traders that contact me saying, are we going to lose all this money? This is what it looks like when you have commitment, discipline, trust, confidence and all together put in, this is how they are able to do this.
