This week I talk about the new book Free Loaves on Fridays: The Care System As Told By People Who Actually Get It edited by Rebekah Pierre.
This is a wonderful book hearing some voices from those who have experienced first hand the Care system including one of our Kinship Kids who contributed a section to the book. In this podcast I read that section and it is really an affecting and effective piece of work that I recommend to anyone interested in the Care system or part of it themselves.
