Today’s conversation is with Sallie King, a former lawyer turned furniture designer who started her own furniture brand Urbansize in 2015. Having grown frustrated at the lack of petite furniture basics when she moved into her flat in Greenwich, Sallie decided to design her own instead, before making the bold move to build herself a new career entirely.

We talk about her sources of inspiration, her determination not to take ‘no’ for an answer, and some of the personal obstacles she has had to navigate throughout the process. Sallie shares so much authenticity and wisdom in such a relatable way, I just know you’ll find it as inspirational as I did!
