Marc’s story begins in his teen years where high school bullying pushed him to a place where he believed he could fight back: a gang. The years of violent and illegal behaviour all built up to one day being imprisoned for life, for a crime he did not commit. Marc shares the tragic adversities that he faced whilst in prison, including losing multiple family members. He discusses the life-long lessons that he learnt regarding dealing with adversity and shares how switching his perspective on his external circumstance allowed him to grow. Marc encourages this same perspective shift to anyone facing adversity.
