Allegra begins by emphasising that there is a broad spectrum of neurodivergence, and that one neurodivergent person will not fit under the same umbrella as another. Reflecting on her own personal story, Allegra shares some of the challenges that neurodivergent people face in the workplace. We discuss how employers may find accommodating to this broad spectrum a challenge, however it is important to keep your focus on creating a space as comfortable as possible, providing personalised support when required and ultimately celebrating this level of diversity that will help your business thrive.
