Breastfeeding is work whether you are having your baby latch on, manually pump, using a double electric breast pump, or a combination of various things to ensure your precious bundle gets all their nutrients in. You are going to have days where you are exhausted, your nipples are sore, slightly skin tears, engorgement, etc. and that's normal but just don't throw in the towel because the road gets long and hard. Remember your why and look at your baby's smiling face for motivation. Then if needed contact a lactation specialist, your OBGYN, or a trusted person that has been down this journey already.
