This week, I had the privilege of exploring this question with Lauren Harvey, a current PhD student at Rice University. Lauren Harvey is a graduate student of Sociology at Rice University. Her research examines inequality in higher education using insights from feminist theory. She is currently working on a project that identifies the institutional effects on social-psychological outcomes of first-generation, working-class students.
