Christie was born in St. Paul, MN. Starting at age 6, travelled along E. Coast with her mom's Navy husband. Went to college at Hamline University in St. Paul, earning B.A. in political science public service and minor in legal studies in 1995 and then paralegal certificate in 2009. Former employment includes substitute teacher in urban and suburban T. C. secondary schools and corrections officer at Ramsey County's women's jail and state juvenile prison. She has worked in divorce and custody law as ChristieLegal since 2012. Christie is widowed; her late-husband Karl died in 2009 of an unexpected heart attack. Am Mom to Alexander, 22, and Megan, 16, and our dogs - Beau, black lab mix, and Prancer, boxer mix. http://www.christielegal.net
