Kendra Ramsey joins us from the California Bicycle Coalition. If you are not familiar with the organization they work on transportation infrastructure and focus improving safety and access for all to navigate cities more comfortably by bike, foot, or mass transit. Kendra knows these needs all too well as she frequently relied on all of them growing up in the city. As you can imagine this had a big impact on her life growing up and has spent much of her adult life working on this in one capacity or another. We cover what they are working on currently as well as "safe Routes to School" and some of the challenges of securing funding.
