In today’s episode we have the pleasure to interview Torkil Færø author of “The Pulse Cure”

Dr. Færø is a general practitioner and emergency physician, documentary filmmaker, author and photographer.In 1996 he was one of the first Norwegian medics to work for Doctors Without Borders when he worked in war-torn Angola. He has over 25-year career as a freelance doctor, he has worked all over Norway, had tens of thousands of consultations and gained a unique picture of the diseases that plague us. He has learned that the cause is most often found in the stresses our lifestyles place on our bodies. Torkil is also an award-winning photographer, and has made documentaries about his pilgrimages to Nidaro and Santiago de Compostela. He is also an avid traveler, and has made his way by bicycle, motorbike, kayak, boat and car through over 80 countries, and speaks eight languages. He now lives in Oslo with his wife and two children and continues to live out an adventurous life with his family.

In this episode, you’ll learn about why Heart Rate Variability (or HRV) is one of the most important metrics to look at when it comes to your health, we also discuss what the best wearables are from apple to samsung and garmin to oura ring, we talk about how and why being healthier is easier than it’s ever been, why big pharma isn’t the place to look for health guidance, and how you can add 24 years to your life by doing this one thing.
