“54 Days of Roses”- Catholic Rosary Novena

Hello, family, and welcome to Day 7 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena! Today, I want to reflect on the Sacrament of Reconciliation and why it is such a vital part of Lent.

Lent is a season of repentance and renewal, a time when we are called to turn away from sin and draw closer to God. Confession is not just about admitting our sins, t’s about receiving the mercy of God and allowing His grace to transform us. One of the most beautiful gifts of this sacrament is that no matter how far we’ve strayed, God is always waiting for us with open arms. Just like the father in the story of the Prodigal Son, He runs to embrace us the moment we turn back to Him.

When was the last time you went to confession? If it’s been a while, this is your invitation to return. Make a plan to receive this sacrament before Easter and experience the peace that comes with God’s forgiveness. If you’re feeling hesitant or nervous, remember that confession is not about punishment, it’s about healing. Through it, God lifts the burdens we carry and renews our souls.

Let today be a reminder that God’s mercy is always greater than our sins and that through confession, we are made new again in Christ.
