Theresa hosts the Becoming More Me Podcast and lives in Maryland near Washington, DC, with her husband, their four boys, and their two yellow labs. She enjoys helping professional women to get out of their way with life and dial in on a work-life balance.

Theresa’s struggles with past traumas, high-functioning anxiety, and ADHD kept her in an ego-driven holding pattern of dissatisfaction and stress for longer than she likes to admit. Those negative feelings seemed to melt away when she began cracking the code to her nervous system, taking responsibility for her well-being, and elevating her consciousness in ways that genuinely restored her feelings of calm, clarity, and confidence.

  • Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as Tapping- resolve anything you can feel. It is a program that people can take and learn how to use tapping for themselves in less time.
  • Nervous System regulation- a big part of nervous system regulation is calming the fight or flight response. So as you tap and do that, it soothes and lowers your stress hormones, which also helps to regulate your nervous system.
  • Band-Aid Application- with EFT tapping or nervous system regulation, you feel better over the anxiousness, and you will feel good in everything for the day. It will help you get through something and have you show up differently.
  • Onion has layers- an analogy that with EFT, it is like peeling back the layers. As you do that, it elevates your consciousness, and new things come up.
  • The Value of Increased Consciousness- The ability to feel that you are actually in the driver’s seat of your life and to be able to open possibilities and awareness of the bigger picture.

You can lower your stress hormones like cortisol by up to 43% in 10 minutes with tapping. To hear Theresa talk about it is one thing.
