“Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it." - Tori Amos
Emotional healing takes time and patience.
Life happens to everyone. We all experience emotional pain at some point and we'll need to find the time and ways to heal ourselves.
No matter how cautious we are in planning our lives or in choosing the ones we spend more time with, pain is inevitable.
Whenever life hits you, you need to remind yourself that you have the power to overcome any struggle.
Emotional healing happens when you can acknowledge, accept, and process difficult emotions or experiences. The process looks different for everyone.
The reality is that you will never be the same person you were before whatever happened that you are healing from. Just be patient and understand that certain wounds need more time to heal than others.
Healing is the process of acknowledging, allowing, accepting, and processing painful life experiences and strong emotions.
It could be from the loss of a loved one, divorce, a break-up, job loss, abuse (emotional, physical, and sexual) or illness.
Allow yourself the fullness of your grief, anger, pain, or loss without attaching further meaning, or thoughts.
Let's not sugarcoat it - the process of healing is not easy BUT it can be incredibly rewarding and help you find clarity and inspiration in life beyond whatever it is you might be healing from.
Emotional strength is not something we're born with, but something we build while dealing with different life events.
Whatever you are going through right now, know that it won't last forever and that it eventually will make you stronger. Going through hardships builds resilience.
This is one of my favorite quotes of all time
"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars." by KAHLIL GIBRAN
