SPIDAH stands for - Supporting people with an Intellectual Disability to Access Health.

We talk about why Inclusive Practices & Reasonable Adjustments supports access to better quality healthcare.
Inclusive Practice makes thoughtful and informed decisions in partnership with patients, their supporters and other professionals.
Reasonable Adjustments are actions taken to support the patient to access any service on an equal basis to other members of the community which also supports self-determination and their ability to make informed decisions about their own healthcare along with their supporters.
