Manny Cuevas is a fashion designer and tailor, coming from a family with a heritage in the fashion industry dating back to the 1950s. He learned tailoring and fashion design from his father, Manuel, and his artisan co-workers. He helped relocate the family business to Nashville in 1991 and began designing and creating individual garments for celebrity clientele such as Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. He continues to create limited run collections and consult for other fashion boutiques. His work is inspired by his rich Mexican and American heritage, the fashion history of the Americas, and the constant recycling of pop culture.
