We often put a lot of pressure on our faith leaders, we place unreal expectations on them and will oftentimes be over critical on things that aren’t as important.
Being in ministry we are pushed into pressure by others and many times we place unnecessary pressure on ourselves to be perfect or without flaws. I have been a pastor for over 40 years and there are many times that others may have felt like I missed the mark. Especially being a female pastor in the very male dominated field.
The truth is, as the bible shares, we all fall short of the glory of God.
I have experienced what it feels like to have to prove my worth even in church. I have had to work harder to get the same respect that is easily given to my male counterparts.
In this episode I share this journey, the lessons learned as I stood my place in ministry and share how you can navigate YOU in ministry.
