- Guest: Lauren O'Connor is the head of IP acquisitions at Amazon Studios. In 2017, Lauren's life changed forever when a memo she had sent to Human Resources at the Weinstein Company was leaked by The New York Times which helped to launch the #MeToo movement. Lauren's memo chronicled two years of abuse that she endured and witnessed as a young executive working closely alongside her boss, Harvey Weinstein. Five years later, Lauren rediscovered horseback riding which has helped to heal her. You can read more about Lauren's story in The Plaid Horse magazine February issue.
