On this week's episode I am interviewing Igor Bekker. Igor is a former retail executive who is now a co-founder of a direct-to-consumer ecommerce business ""MADE OF"". ""MADE OF"" provides new parents with simple, organic-first and safe everyday baby products, whilst creating consistent shopping experience without exploiting their pockets and time. Historically, he has worked with high profile brands such as Swatch, ALEX AND ANI, Bauer Hockey and Serta Simmons. He is currently trying to disrupt the baby product industry by being the only brand that is truly non-GMO and certified by the government. He has found that there is no regulation over the term ""natural"" and ""organic"" in this space and he is trying to raise awareness in terms of the actual location of where the ingredients come from and its manufacturing. The product line is already winning national awards and is set to do some amazing things. In this episode, we will discuss: The current personal care/beauty industry and its regulation or lack of.
